SOLIHULL SPORTING FC are one of the fastest growing grassroots football clubs in the midlands and currently boast one of the largest Girls & Womens sections in Solihull and Birmingham. The club was originally founded in 1998 as Solihull Borough Girls to provide opportunities to young female players in and around the Solihull area, which at the time were few and far between.

Since then the club has grown leaps and bounds, we now have teams of all demographics such as Mens, Ladies, Over 35s, Youths Girls & Boys (includes a range of age groups). The Solihull Sporting family now has over 300 official players as part of the club, with an additional 70-100 players across our Mini Kickers section (young boys/girls teams) and around 100 players spread throughout our Girls/Ladies teams.

As a club we are currently an official grassroots partner to Coventry City FC in our boys section and have links to female RTC’s (Regional Talent Clubs) which gives our players access to opportunities for additional support an coaching with the ultimate goal of producing elite English female players to compete on the world stage. We’re also fortunate to have ex-professional footballer Dele Adebola, bringing all her knowledge and expertise to the club as Head of Community Development.
